This circuit training routine is designed specifically for entry level runners and even people looking to start their fitness journey. By keeping each exercise dynamic, specific, and constantly moving we’re able to combine an aerobic workout with strength training. Circuit training is helpful for every level of runner who desires to improve their performance. This circuit is beneficial for beginner runners or injury prone athletes who aren’t ready to handle an increase in volume but who want to do more to improve their running long-term health.
Our circuit comprises of bodyweight exercises without the use of large equipment or open space! Don’t be fooled, just because it’s all bodyweight exercises doesn’t mean it’s not hard! The critical component of this routine is that each exercise be completed one after another without resting.

Mountain climbers double x 10
Mountain climbers singles x 10 each
Mountain climbers singles out x 10 each
Mountain climbers doubles out x 10
800 meters
Push ups x 15
Burpees x 10
Hip thrusts x 10 each leg
Pike Press x 15
800 meters
Lunge w/twist x 10 each leg
Push ups walk x 15 seconds total
V-ups x 15 reps
Squat jumps x 15 reps
800 meters
Prone w/twist x 10 each side
Running motion V-ups
Superman x 15 reps
Mason twists x 20 each side
