I am a senior at Brashier Middle College and we have to create a senior project. I decided to create a 5K to help raise money for Diabetes, so Run From Diabetes is a 5K to help raise money for American Diabetes Association. Approximately 29.1 million Americans have diabetes. That means that 29.1 million families are affected. I want to inform people about diabetes and the risk factors in order to know how to control it if they have it or know someone that has it.
