All participants should be used to completing a 25-mile ride including at least one ascent and descent of Paris Mountain (or equivalent). All drills and instruction will be scaled to individual rider ability, so more experienced road cyclists are also welcome. Participants should come prepared for a normal ride with bicycles, helmets, clothing, cycling shoes and water bottles. We recommend that you bring tennis shoes to participate without clipping in to your pedals to build confidence quickly. We’re limiting this day to 20 people so we can maximize personal instruction and facilitate effective learning. If we get more wanting to participate than that, we’ll do it again soon.

About Samantha Smith & Steve Baker:
Samantha Smith and Steve Baker (Certified IMBA, NICA and USA Cycling Coaches & Instructors) have over 30 years of bicycle riding and racing experience, and they are passionate about sharing their knowledge with others. They have developed a proven curriculum that helps riders on every level ride better on any bicycle. They’ve taught this class to riders on almost every level, and everyone learns and everyone gets better as they go.
Road, Triathlon and Hybrid bicycles are appropriate for this clinic. No mountain bikes please. We will be using a grass field for most of the skill drills to minimize risk to body and bike. Some riders prefer to use their training wheels for the clinic. We will not ask you to do anything you don’t want to do, but we will ask you to challenge yourself.
Questions should be directed to Steve Baker at firstname.lastname@example.org or Samantha Smith at email@example.com
Cancellation Policy: No refunds will be given, but we will work with individuals to postpone participation into a future event if necessary. In the event of inclement weather that forces us to delay, we will choose an alternative date for the event. We will make every effort possible to host this event as scheduled.
