Kids ages 14 and under (and parents) are invited to join us for a fun 3K (just under 2 miles) trail run through the trails of Lake Conestee Nature Park. Adults are welcome to enter this race as well to escort and encourage their children if desired. Entry in the 10K race this same day means you may accompany your child during the kids race for free, if you wear your 10K number. If you do not enter the 10k, you must enter the 3k with your child. The Get Out Greenville 3k Kids Race will be one of the featured events taking place during the Get Out Greenville Fall Festival, celebrating all that Greenville County and Upstate South Carolina has to offer outdoor enthusiasts. The rolling 3k (2 mile) course winds its way through the beautiful Conestee Park and features a mix of dirt, gravel and pavement.
If you’re a 10k runner, parent or good Samaritan, and you want to help keep the kids on course for the kids race, please contact Steve Baker at email@example.com. We like to have adults at every possible intersection and we appreciate volunteer help with this event.
Greenville County Rec has been working hard to make Conestee one of the best facilities in the county, and this is a great opportunity to see all the fantastic improvements that have been made to this wonderful outdoor oasis. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Conestee Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to developing Lake Conestee Nature Park and contiguous community lands into a nature park and wildlife sanctuary for public recreation.
