We are very pleased to announce that the Get Out Greenville 10k is now the 2020 Get Out Greenville USATF South Carolina Association Open/Masters 10k MUT Championships!
Venue: Conestee Park, 840 Mauldin Rd., Greenville, SC 29607

$30 preregistration before 12 noon September 30 (includes race entry and race logo item) You must register online to get the custom race logo item. $5 of your entry fee goes directly to Greenville County Recreation. Online registration closes at Noon on September 30, 2020.

The Get Out Greenville 10k is now the 2020 Get Out Greenville USATF South Carolina Association Open/Masters 10k MUT Championships! That means that USATF members can win gold, silver and bronze SC State Championship medals in every age group, male and female. USATF members and non-members are welcome to participate in the race, and all runners will be placed in the overall results. The state championship medals are an extra bonus for USATF members. You can become a USATF member now to be eligible for the USATF South Carolina Association Open/Masters 10k MUT Championships here.
The Get Out Greenville 10K is also one of the featured events taking place during the Get Out Greenville Fall Festival, celebrating all that Greenville County and Upstate South Carolina has to offer outdoor enthusiasts. The rolling 10K course winds its way through the beautiful Lake Conestee Nature Park and features a mix of dirt, gravel and pavement. Greenville County Rec has been working hard to make Conestee one of the best facilities in the county, and this is a great opportunity to see all the fantastic improvements that have been made to this wonderful outdoor oasis. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Camp Spearhead and the Conestee Foundation.
The Get Out Greenville 10K is race #6 in the 7 race Greenville Dirt Trail Run Series. Run at least 4 races in the series to be considered for the overall trail running championship for your age group. Details can be found at www.greenvillerec.com/trailraces. Special recognition will be given to folks who run ALL 7 races!

Overall results will be posted at the race by 11:00am. We will award the top male and top female runner with a special prize, and the top runner in every age group will receive an award at the race. In addition, USATF members will be awarded gold, silver and bronze SC State Championship medals in every age group, male and female. Become a USATF member here. Awards will not be mailed to runners after race day, so please collect your award at the race if you want it. All runners will receive points in the Greenville Dirt Series 8 places deep in every age group. Results will also be posted online in the days following the race at www.Book-Events.com and www.ItsAboutTime.run.

What is it: A collection of 7 trail races over 10 months held at 3 different parks crowning one champion. The races covering distances from 5k to 16k are designed to test your trail running skill and show you 3 of the most beautiful parks in the Upstate of South Carolina.

Paris Mt. 12K – May 30th – Paris Mountain State Park
Paris Mt 7K – August 8th – Paris Mountain State Park
Get Out 10K – October 3rd – Lake Conestee Nature Park
Paris Mt 16K – November 7th – Paris Mountain State Park
How it Works: If you compete in a minimum of 4 races you will be in the running for the Series awards. At the end of the 7 races we will take your 4 best results and add up the points. The first 8 finishers in each age group qualify for points. Awards will be given out to the winner of every age group, male and female for each division. Your age will be determined by the date December 31, 2020. You will race in this age group for the entire year. Special recognition will be given to folks who run ALL 7 races!

Lake Conestee Nature Park consists of approximately 400 acres of beautiful natural habitat on the Reedy River just 6 miles south of downtown Greenville, South Carolina. The park contains both hardwood and evergreen forest, extensive wetlands, 3 miles of the Reedy River, and a rich diversity of wildlife habitat. Deer, raccoon, beaver, fox, river otter, and various small mammals inhabit the park, along with numerous species of reptiles and amphibians. Over 170 bird species have been reported by the Greenville County Bird Club. The park has been designated as an Important Bird Area of Global Significance by the National Audubon Society.
